I've always looked up to people who manage with CV-VC, so I tried to make my own!!

This is a Voicepack - or VP for short - which means it's a folder you put into the "base" voicebank to add more sounds, which in this case is his two CV-VC banks going into his 2.5 bank.
You use the SOFT bank by putting a * as a suffix in the CV-VC notes, and to use his normal(or STRONG) CV-VC, you just write in the aliases.
This was made with my own reclist, and oto'd using Leanloid's method. I think Miki is the first UTAU to have appends in a CV-VC bank, huh, haha xD
I recommend using his normal CV-VC though. Ofc you'll have to tune it a bit if you need to, it's my first ever CV-VC.

I did a small tutorial near the end as well for those of you who really want to give the VP a shot, and then I added two final comparisions. Since Miki soft CV-VC is actually based on normal Miki 2.5's CV, it's NOT an append. It just makes him sound softer with the F0 flag.

**What is CV-VC, you ask?**
Well it's basically CV with added VC sounds, so that a UST which previously went "warae nai hanashi" becomes "wa ar ra ae e en n na ai ih ha an na ash shi" with the help of the sounds recorded. Uhm it's a /pretty/ complicated and /ADVANCED/ thing and it's also very new, so if you're not familiar with UTAU or CV-VC I suggest you do NOT use this.

This was actually only recorded for an UST Lean is about to release, he told me that he was gonna have Zo record CV-VC for Nitomi's next act so that the UST would sound better, and so Miki was the only one without a CV-VC bank. This is... a gift, or whatever, I guess? Ha! Have fun anyways.

Finally, he's released!
Whatshisname(or Dare) is a deep male-voice VB I created a while back. He is recorded with a high quality microphone and counts as the third Puruta, or PU03. He sounds best around C3 ~ C4 and with the flags B0Y0
I recorded him with AudaCity, Yoyopines is going to oto his CV-VC later.

He's voiced by me, Puru, without the use of any pitch-editing program. That's seriously my voice!!

Some if this info is not final (like most things I post), so please bear with some changes x'D

First off;
I'll be making a UST of "Last Train" from YuGiOh 5D's, and "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga.
Kimiko Hidene will /not/ be released this year. Her voicebank (2.0) will be released in 2012.
Miki Yukine 2.5 will be released earlier, but it's still uncertain wether it will be in 2011 or 2012.
Whatshisname will not be released to the general public unless there is a demand for him/you request him(this is not my attempt at being tsundere famous derpface, this is just because.. I don't want to release a VB no one will use xD)
I will not be making appends until I've finished all my other projects

Yep!! This is one of my new characters, What'shisname(infamous from my FAQ video, you can find it on my YouTube channel..)!!
What'shisname / Vemdå / Dare(Daa - lee, not "dare") is the brother of Kimiko Hidene! He has been hiding in the shadows for a while but finally decided to show up. When he finally did show up however, people had forgotten who he was and he was nicknamed "What'shisname", or "Dare" which means "who?". WHN likes to eat waffles and to hang out with his sister. He's 18 years old and was born/created on the nationalday of Sweden(6 / 6 / 2011). You can read more about Dare here!

New microphone = better quality!!

Yes, I'll be getting this new headset and I hope the quality of my voicebanks will increase once I've gotten it ^^
So far I've been recording with my built-in iMac microphone, which has resulted in a /lot/ of buzzing, background noice and the need of the B0H2 flags on most of my UTAUs for them so sound good OTL
But with this headset, that hopefully won't be the case anymore :3 I can't wait to record Mikiv2.5 and Kimiko v2.0 ^^ Haha, I'm pretty psyched~
I hope you all are looking forward to the new headset as much as I am.

P.S. Once I get the headset, I'll also start recording my newest Voicebank and the Kimiko and Miki VCVs.

That's right. After v2.4(which is actually just v2.0 but with some re-recordings), there will be a Miki 2.6 - a whole new voicebank. Beware that this voicebank may or may not sound the same as the previous onces due to.. uh.. yeah. My voice changes all the time xD
But I think it'll be really great to have a new Miki :3 after this I'm probably done with him. Some appends and then BAM - no more Miki.
May get a new microphone as well.. any suggestions?

Fixing Recordings (UTAU Tutorial)

I've noticed that a lot of people are having trouble with recordings, screaming in UTAU etc. So here's how I usually fix that (may not apply to everyone's problems, sorry orz)

Here we have a sound that goes "NIII"(almost like screaming or blowing upp the speakers) instead of "niii" like we want, it sounds bad and ruins the song. There's two ways to fix this problem, and you fix them accordingly to which one of these reasons, if...

...The sound has always done this, and never sounds good. To fix this, delete the sound's(for example, the sound "sa") .wav (which for example would be sa.wav) and the .frq file (sa.frq). After you've done this, re-record your sound. Close and re-open UTAU and try the sound, hopefully it sounds nice now!

...The sound has only done this once or a few times before, and it's gone either really quiet or really loud. To fix this, we have to change our resampler from resampler.dll to resampler.exe, as the .dll version is what causes this. This is a common mistake, so don't worry.

If neither of these solutions work or reasons apply to you, I recommend visiting VocaloidOtaku.net and asking the forum for help :3

Soundquality - Recording nice recordings

Remember you have to record your sounds so that they are about 2 - 3sec long each. Don't scream into the mic, and don't whisper. Listen to your recording before exporting it to your voicebank and you'll have a couple of good recordings :3 Recording, listening and re-recording is the key to a nice voicebank. Don't get lazy and "leave bad recordings be" because you don't feel like fixing them, no one wants to use a voicebank with lots (or even just a few) bad recordings. They can ruin whole songs.

Who's Kimiko?

My early fans know that Kimiko was and is my first UTAU.
She was created two months before Miki and released one day before him. She has pink hair and a gigantic ahoge/cow lick on the top of her head. She likes gaming and hitting people with chop sticks.
Over the past year, I've been neglecting Kimiko - partly because she is hard to record, but more importantly due to the fact that the fangirls went nuts for Miki. Seriously - every single comment I got went something like "MIKI DESU KAWAII SUGOI OOH" XD Not that I didn't like it(I love you♡), I just started neglecting Kimiko because of that :3 My voice is naturally pretty high pitched, which UTAU does not like /facepalm/ so yeah. She is /very/ hard to record..
BUT SHE'S COMING BACK!!

That's right. Exciting, huh? Kimiko's getting a full, re-recorded vb ~ I'm very excited about it and I hope you'll like her as much as you used to ^^ Kimiko used to be the star of Purutau before Miki came along. I guess it's because she's a girl, huh? Maybe if she showed some skin.... *brick'd*

Uh so yes. Please support Kimiko and wait for her return~ I promise you it'll be VERY awesome.

Miki Yukine APPEND Calm ~demo~ released

Yesterday, I released this demo of Miki calm append singing "Sky High"(orig: kasane teto) ^^
This is still very beta though, and nothing is final - not even the append name!

I hope people will like this append.. I work as hard as I can on them all, and I try to make the result stand out a bit from the original voicebank :3 for example.. ever heard Miki sing this deep? That's because append Slow sings below C3 and up to C6! Amazing skill there, Miki! ^^

Miki Yukine release dates are up now and well yeah.. they might change without notice and stuff. I guess 9w9 basically this means "around XXX" or "after/before XXX", so if it says "april 7th" it could mean "around april 10th" XD the set date is like a deadline, I guess. So don't trust the dates THAT much.. orz

How to Create a Character/Readme file and picture for your UTAU

Hello, this is a tutorial in how to create a readme and character and add a picture file for your UTAU.

This is a character file - it shows when you select a UTAU or click the icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

To create a characterfile, we'll start off with this.
PIC.bmp = this is where the picture/drawing will be
CHARACTER.TXT = the name of your UTAU + act?

README.TXT = information - this is not necessary, but you can write anything you want here :3

Take a drawing(or draw a new one) and make it 100x100 pixels - the save it as a .bmp (it WILL NOT WORK IF THE SIZE AND FILE TYPE ISN'T RIGHT), when you're done, name it whatever you want (like pic.bmp) and add it to your UTAU's folder.

Create two .txt documents - one character.txt and one readme.txt, add them to your UTAU's folder as well.

Open the character.txt and copy this information:
name= the name of your UTAU
sample=
author= your name or your alias on the internet
image= the pic.bmp we created (or whatever you named it)

now paste it into the character file. Close the file and SAVE IT.

Open the readme and write any information you want! :3 This is Miki's readme.txt file, for example ^^ close and save.

Open UTAU - done~!

Yes, for his release I've been thinking a bit - should I release the standalone CV first and add the VCV link once it's done..? It's only a lite VCV (ie. not a full renzoku like Ritsu's) so it won't work without the CV voicebank.. hmm..
OkitaLean promied me to help me fix his VCV, hopefully it'll work out somehow.
Release dates etc. will come later :3

the truth is, I was having A REALLY HARD TIME figuring out her new design, but I think you'll all be pleased when you see it ^^ I changed her A LOT, apart from her hair. She'll always be Ahoge gal no.1!
However, I'm also pleased to announce that I'm going to bring her back! ovo She'll be given a lite VCV and lots of new sounds and stuff.. orz her voice may not suite all songs though, and she's harder to work with than Miki, for example.

Welp, I hope you look forward to her return!

I've chosen for Kimiko Hidene to have a lite renzoku, using Teto's lite list. She will not have a full VCV, Miki however will have a stand-alone voicebank with 7renzoku - the Ritsu list.

I've started recording a lot of Kimiko's VCV already and her release date is coming up next n__n
Miki has gotten a large amount of english recorded for his v2.2. He's also had a lot of re-recording of sounds that sounded off in his v.2, yay! ANd I've fixed his vowel VCV otos. Awesome happy times, right? :3

So look forward to those things.

Currently I've been working A LOT with a secret project of mine *ohoho, she's in the UTAU wiki and I bet you could find her if you wanted to..* at the same time as I've been trying to figure out Miki's VCVs. I'm no good at all with VCV, recording is fine but just... the otos are killing me! I just don't get it, though I use the values I got from a friend.. orz if anyone would like to help me (PLEASE) send me a PM and I'll send you a download of his VCVs. Remember though, if you apply for doing his VCVs I expect you to finish them! owo of course I'll credit you >w< it'd be A LOT of help, kthx.
And also, I've been trying to record a "soft Miki", since his VCVs are kind of "dark Miki". Soft sounds pretty nice, it's just a hassle not breathing too much when recording him. I'll try to get me another microphone so that he'll sound better~ it's confusing stuff I tell you.
Kimiko Hidene v3 is coming a long nicely! She sounds very calm and cutesy, and she blends fairly well in chrouses *SCORE*. I'll try to upload some stuff with her later on - Miki has apparantly beaten her in popularity.. how that happened is a mystery to me.....

Kimi Midorine v1.5 is actually sounding very realistic! So look forward to her as well~ she's at the UTAU wiki for those of you who want to know more about her.

Today I've mostly been working with VCV.
It's hard, and it's a lot of work. But it sounds pretty nice so I'll hold on and continue with it ;w;

I really work a lot with Miki's voicebank right now, fixing some stuff and adding a lot of appendixes to it - like english and swedish (yes, he has a beta english... oh God) - and also a soft append and of course, the VCV.

I've been into Yugioh SO MUCH this past week, I loved it as a kid and now I'm stuck again!XD so of course I had to make an UST, yay...
it's actually my first UST in Japanese - and it has some HUUGE timing issues. It's pretty horrible.. but I've included a lot of help for you so it shouldn't be that hard. It's like the normal "editing the timing"-process, so I think it's worth a download. (I hope XD) please help me~ I don't like doing Japanese stuuuufffffff

Yes, so I've been recording a lot of VCV lately. I'm going to release the finished VCV later on, it's actually 7Renzoku like Ritsu so I hope that you'll like it, at least I do XD Miki sounds slightly lighter than usual so I hope that you want to use his VCV for softer songs.
Right now I've scheduled his VCV release for something around spring/summer, but we'll see - I've also decided to give him "strong VCVs" and "light VCVs" so that you won't be restricted to soft songs when using his VCV. Normal appends(CV) are cancelled until I've recorded the VCVs. I'm using Ritsu Namine's reclist for this one and I hope it'll sound good :3
So Miki Yukine VCV/Triphones v.1.0 will be released in the future. I wanna accompany his newly released CV voicebank with it so I may edit his act2 with some lite VCVs, but right now I think his vowel VCV is enough.

I won't update for a while until I've recorded a bit more so that I can upload some samples of stuff, his VCV sounds pretty n00b but still good right now so I probably won't upload anything until I'm happy with it. Thank you all for supporting Miki and my UTAU making owo

How to add/edit Flags/BRE etc. in UTAU -tutorial-

So this is how I'll try to explain flags/BRE in UTAU, please bear with me on this one xD

BRE stands for Breathiness, if you have Vocaloid you'll recognize this right away. You can write in any number from 0 ~ 100 in this box and edit the breathiness, 0 being the minimum amoumt and 100 the maximum. Voicebank quality tend to become better at 0BRE.
FLAGS stands for genderediting in UTAU, genderbending an UTAU has its origin in flags. The most common flag is g-/g+, g+(write a number here) makes the voice go deeper and more "boyish"/"manly". g-(write a number here) will make the voice more girly, rather than womanly depending on the voicebank.
"G FLAGS" G-flags, or commonly referred to as the "g-/g+"-flags stand for Genderfactor. They are the flags used for genderbending in UTAU. For example, turning a female UTAU male would be adding g+15 flags and the other way around would be g-10.

To change the flags/BRE for a whole UST, simply open the UST, hold Ctrl+A and do the following:

(you can change independent/separate notes just as well as whole USTs this way) select a note/the notes you want to edit the BRE/flags on, right click and choose Property(the last option in the scroll-down list). Doing so will open THIS window.

From here, click the little linktext at the bottom (the red arrow is pointing at it). Doing so will open the BRE and Flags menue.

Here we can already see the BRE and Flags squares, in the BRE we can type in anything from 0 ~ 100 like I said, and the Flags work a little bit differently. There's a certain "code"/flag list you have to use here. You can type in these in the Flags box for editing, here's a quick explanation as well:

Y = Clarity

B = gravel-y voice
BRE = Breathiness
H = Muffledness
b = Gravel voice
t = Raise pitch; clear
g+ = Gender; down

g- = Gender; up

N = "chipmunk" voice

You can type in any number after each code to add more of it, just typing it in won't do much good. For example, making a voice clearer in UTAU would have the flags Y5BRE0t2, as opposed to making it more muffled with H10g+3BRE25. You can write the codes in any way you want, so there's no special way to do it. You could type in BRE before H or the other way around, it'll give the exact same effect.

There is a second way to edit BRE and Flags when opening and wanting to change a whole UST.

In the UTAU menue, go Project -> Project Property

(Observe! This window has been cut down in half for the sake of the tutorial.)

This is the Project Property window (the window where you select your UTAU), see the box after the Rendering Options? You can type in the flag codes there as well, but this will change the settings for the WHOLE UST and not for seperate notes. Click "OK" and not "Cancel", otherwise the changes won't be made.

How to make a oto.ini file

First off, you have to download UTAU from here (If you download the .zip file, the folder will be opened in WinRAR. I would extract it to your desktop. If you download the normal version, it will install as UTAU in your "Programs" folder after you've run the .exe file)
You can download the english patch for it here (read how to in the forum posts)
For recording the samples, the easiest way would be downloading AudaCity, which is a totally free software many UTAU users, including myself, use in their UTAU making. This is for extracting the recordings as .wav files, if you have another software that can do that then there's no need to download AudaCity (though this tutorial will use it for teaching)

Next, for making our own UTAU, we want to create a folder with the UTAU's name. This is where we'll extract our recordings from AudaCity later on. Drag the folder into the UTAU folder's voice folder.

This is what it basically looks like in my voice folder. The voice folder should be in Programs -> UTAU, or if you downloaded the .zip version on your desktop/wherever you extracted it to under the name "utau207" or something like that.

To add more UTAUs, search for a voicebank you want from YouTube/NicoNico and simply download it! Then just repeat what we did when we created our own voicebank by extracting the voicefolder from the downloaded UTAU into UTAU -> voice. Now you should be able to use it in UTAU! [OBSERVE! Users who have not installed Japanese on their computers won't be able to use Japanese UTAUs with voicebanks are encoded in hiragana, romaji UTAUs will work]

Next, you should take a look at this recording list for the Japanese Hiragana alphabet (the alphabet UTAU uses for making your UTAU sing in Japanese)

It's not necessary to record ALL of these, but the standard voicebank needs to have every letter from a - z with the vowels a, i, e, o and u to work properly with every UST.

Onto recording then... [OPEN AUDACITY]

Here we are in AudaCity! Here, I have recorded "mu". See the red squares? Note the empty space/silent parts they surround. Those parts we want to CUT so the sample won't sound off in UTAU. We only want the sound itself.

Now, we want to export the sound into our UTAU's folder, and so we select "file" -> "export as .wav...", we go to the UTAU folder -> voice and select our UTAU's folder. Then we type the filename (the sound's name, in this case "mu") and click OK. Simple as that! Now we have started with our voicebank. ovo

Now we can open UTAU and start working!

Downloading USTs is a great way to make your UTAU sing songs - the UTAU program works like a piano, so if you know how to play one you'll see how easy it really is. USTs that you've downloaded should be able to be opened at the "File" option in the menue.

Here's how we select our UTAU. Click "Project Property" and in the drop-down box in the window that pops up, select your UTAU, then hit OK.

For your UTAU to sing properly, open the "options" menue by doing the following:

Now that we have this window up, select and un-select everything so that it looks like the window below does. (these are my preferred settings and they work super with UTAU for me)

Selecting notes for your UTAU to sing is also easy, but it's not just hitting the "play" button though.

Here's how it works:

RED LINES indicate where you started selecting notes and where your pointer currently is.

PINK NOTES indicate selected notes, these are the notes that will play once you hit the "play" button.

BLUE NOTES are un-selected notes - they won't play unless you select them.

If you're done with making your UTAU sing a song by opening/creating a UST, you want to bring it outside of the UTAU program to add the karaoke for it to become a song, right? Here's what we do:

"Render wav file..." will export your UTAU's singing into a .wav file.

Every new recorded file you've recorded will be generated its own .frq file by UTAU, your voicebank folder will also be given it's own oto.ini file.

Now you can use your UTAU! I hope this was helpful.. ovo);;

TUTORIAL n.1: Editing USTs, Pitchbending & Vibrato

※ people have told me, and I've seen, that it's hard to figure out mode2 in UTAU with the pitchbends and vibrato etc. So I made this little tutorial to teach you about how to edit USTs with vibrato and pitchbending - it's very basic and not very thourough so advanced people won't need this, I guess xD
Also, my UTAU is set to english from an english patch I downloaded - go google it, I don't remember where I found it but I know that it's out there. My UTAU is also somewhat set to gibberish so I'm sorry for the weirdness, I hope you'll get it anyway :U / Puru

I'll talk a bit about mode1 and mode2 as well - so yeah.
But this tutorial focuses on Mode2 stuff.

To access mode2, click the "mode2" button in the upper right corner of the UTAU window. This will transform the interface into the mode2 one and also add the mode2 features - pitch bends, vibrato etc.

Here's a UST for "hallelujah" I just made. Note how we will be working with MODE2 and not MODE1 (so click the little "mode2" button and we're set to go! You can do this with any UST really, but yeah, just pick some random notes and play around as I will.

Now, we want to add some more "life" into this UST with vibrato - to do this, we're awesome and we right-click after we've selected the "ya"(longest note), select "pitch" and this box will show.

This is the epic box that we will be using most of the time, so I'll explain what all of the confusing things do..

1. This adds the pitch bends, or the "red strings" connecting the notes in UTAU
2 & 3. these things aren't really necessary - but they allow you to edit the pitch bends
4. write a number here (3 or 5 or whatever) to create multiple pitchbends in the same note for editing, this is pretty advanced and nothing you won't survive without.
5, 6 & 7. The vibrato meters that work the same way as 2 & 3.

Click the second box (in my gibberish english UTAU, the one that says "|r|u|||(|g") until it looks like mine (it's supposed to have a white bg with a check mark, not grey) and then click OK.

About step #4 (kinda advanced), if you write the number "3" in the little box, there will be three little boxes to drag. Dragging the second box (the one at the highest point over the i i) will make the pitch bending come out differently than if you'd added a separate note there. (can't explain) Try it out and play around with it, but not too much if you're working with a real UST.

Back to what we were doing.

Now, it should look like this. If it doesn't, go through the steps again. If it does, congratulations! OwO Right, so play the note and you'll hear the "yaAaAa~" instead of "yaaaa", it's more lifelike now. If you play around with the little grey box right under the vibrato(red wave line), you'll discover that you can edit the vibrato a lot. Play around with it~

Dragging the little red lines, or the "pitch bends", will make the notes sound more like to original as well. Make sure that you don't drag them too long or go to crazy with them or it won't sound as nice.In this case, instead of it going "hallelujaa" I wanted it to be with more feeling - so I dragged the pitch bend just a bit on the "ru" to make it go "halleluUjaa", experiment with it and don't forget to listen to the note so that it won't sound off.

I added some stuff to his act2 - so he sounds a lot smoother now, I think XD
Please watch the demo video and tell me what you think.. I re-recorded his "hi" and "wi", fixed up his vowel VCVs and some other stuff. I also tested how he sounds with g2 flags, it sounds very nice actually xD He sounds a lot manlier now, though he's supposed to be 12 so I guess that's not a big issue.
Make sure to download his act2 voicebank, it's available both here and on my YouTube channel oWo so please check it out, download it and make him sing lots of songs. He's best used with g0BRE0 flags.

How to use Miki Yukine act2's Vowel VCV

Here's the UST we'll be using. Playing this UST will make the vowel (o) come out very striking after the "na", since Miki is recorded as having a very strong VB. So here's what we'll do to smooth it out.

Select the "o" note, hold the SHIFT button and right-click the note. This list should pop up, here you choose the "a o".

Here's the result! This way, it will play as "minao" instead of "mina o". This is a technique that can be applied to ANY vowel in his voicebank - thus "vowel VCV".

The oto.ini can be VERY confusing at first - especially if you're totally new to UTAU. The oto.ini is there to melt the notes together and add life to the UTAU, as well as some final editing for the .wavs.
There's lots of other great oto.ini tutorials out there, and I'll add links to those I found that I think could help after the tutorial :3

To open the UTAU oto.ini interface, do this:

In the menu window, click "tools" and "Voice Bank Settings...". This will open up this window:

As you can see, I've selected the sample "a" to work with. The selected sounds are marked with blue, the numbers you see on the screen all describe how the oto is built. To open the "working interface", click "Launch Editor". Done!

This is the UTAU oto.ini interface - you have the first window and the second one, the second window opens when you push the large button placed near the four smaller ones (it's the big one to the left, see?). The second window is where we edit the oto.ini - the first window is for information on the oto, duplicating files and adding hiragana/romaji aliases.

As you can see, there's a lot of stuff going on here that I'll try to explain.

BLUE - the blue part indicates the part we want to delete from the file, for example if you recorded "zu" but forgot to erase the empty space in the beginning/end of the recording. That's where the blue goes. It's very handy owo

PINK - this part makes sure that your samples won't go "nnnnaaa" instead of "naaa", the pink goes over to consonant and partly over the vowel.

RED LINE - overlap, how much of the note/sound shall overlap the previous one.
GREEN LINE - This part is "preutter", IE. when the sound will actually start. For example, I want my UTAU to say "sama". I add the "sa" and "na", and the pre-utter turns it into "sa..ma" with a short pause for me. It's very convenient for realistic sounds!
NOTE!! NEVER drag the red and green lines TOO FAR or they'll sound OFF and BAD, experiment before releasing a voicebank with a newly configured oto.ini!!

STEP BY STEP

Here's the opened sound we want to Oto. As you can see, there's nothing more than the sound file at the moment.

We drag the pink over the consonant + some of the vowel.

Then we add the overlap and preutter like this, a bit after the consonant but not too far into the vowel. Experimenting is the best way to work an oto.ini. The green should NEVER be too far into the sound or it will sound horrible, it's better if you leave the green somewhere in the beginning on the consonant.

Perfect! Now we add the blue line over the parts we don't want - like stuff we should've deleted in AudaCity but didn't for some reason, or just sounds we don't want.

Last but not least we drag the blue stuff over the very end of the sound. DONE!

Oto'd Voicebank vs. No Oto Voicebank:

The first pic is of an oto.ini voicebank singing "arigato", the second of a voicebank with no oto.ini. See the differences? :3

The Oto.ini makes it go "a..riGaa..too", and the no oto goes "arigato". The first one sound a lot more realistic and nice.

Every voicebank should have a working oto before it's released.

Yes, I know that you all might miss her.
But I won't release her full body act3 design quite yet - it'll be a secret until she's released. Until then, I'll release short covers and teasers from her. Miki is almost finished so he'll be released soon enough :3
Kimiko is currently in a very odd state in her voicebank - she has multiple english and Japanese sounds, but neither voicebank is actually finished. I'll have to work on her Japanese more, but in the end I hope to release her as the Bilangual UTAU she was ment to be. I'll release short samples of her english by uploading "secret" and a short Japanese sample with "虚構の月夜"

Right now, Kimi would like to say the following to all of you who support her:

"Everyone, thank you so much for waiting for my act3! I know that I don't have that many songs uploaded, but I really really super special awesomely hope for more to be uploaded soon (heh, see what I did there with the YGOTAS-reference?). It will make sounds come out much smoother, it's still a BETA version though and if you don't know how to or want to use his Light List VCV you can use his CV bank normally :3

YES, Miki is now finished and will be able to be downloaded soon.
There's a lot of improvements in this version, as his v.1/ALFA1.6/act1 didn't have a great oto or all the necessary soundfiles - v.2/act2 does, however, and has got a large vocalrange and samplelibrary.

Miki is recommended for pop and rock songs, with 50 ~ 190bpm and his range is recommnended as C3 - C5. His basic note, however, is B3/C4 and USTs should NOT be edited as of that. o3o
Miki is designed for singing in Japanese and Engrish, but if we get a good fanresponse we'll maybe considder developing a English or Swedish voicebank for him as well ovo

Miki is best suited for people who have downloaded the newest version of UTAU and we can't promise that he'll work otherwise.
He is encoded in romaji with hiragana aliases and comes with 1 demo song, a "terms of use", "how to use" and concept art drawing. For his first release, however, you will be able to download a RipSync model as well ^o^)/ isn't it awesome??

YES, I'm going to finish TWO USTs fully in Engrish instead of using the English UTAU voicebanks, so that people won't have to record new stuff every time they want to use my USTs (since I don't do Japanese ones out of boredom and lazyness)
So these are the USTs I'm going to release: Gimme Gimme Gimme by ABBA and Lovegame by Lady GaGa. I'm pending between using Ritsu for one of them or if I'll use Len and Rin/Miku :U I'm really not sure at all.

Miki and Kimiko are almost finished as of now. I'm going to be working on some appends for them as well :3
Right now I want to finish Kimiko's ACT3, she's gotten A LOT smoother than she was before OuO Please download her when her voicebank has been released ÒUÓb

Miki Yukine ACT2 finished

Hello, I've finally achieved what I wanted - I finished Miki's ACT2. PHEW!!
Now to record those nyu and wya sounds for his extended version...
His Japanese CV bank is finished, or at least the basics are. You can make him sing practically anything now :3
